We always see these…I’m really not sure what they are…Ella is sure that they are buffalo??????

They look like long haired cows to me.

While at Miranda’s, the kids and I got to hold and love on the sweetest little red haired baby love!

Sweet Cheeks

I just adore this picture of Ella….her little pink cheeks are SO sweet!

Owen is 17 months old today!

Owen,

Today you are 17 months old!  How time flies…next month you will be 1 1/2!!!!

You are really starting to “talk”.

You give the BEST & BIGGEST hugs!

You have 12 teeth and a few more coming in.

You wear size 6 diapers.

You wear size 24 month & 2t clothes.

You wear size 6-7 shoe {depends on the shoe}.

You are beginning to look more and more like a little boy than a baby.  Which makes Mommy sad!! 

You have the sweetest little spirit.

You do EVERYHTING your sister does.

When you think something is nasty or smells bad, you wrinkle your little nose, make a shoo, shoo noise and wave you hand.

I’m SO proud to be your Mommy!!!!

I love you more and more everyday.

These BOOTS were made for walkin’….

I LOVE these chunky little legs in these boots!!!!

My mom {Nana} bought these boots for Owen for his 1st Birthday.

I took them back to get a bigger size {size 8}, so he could where them a little longer.

I wish SO bad my grandpa {grandpa Blankenship-my mom’s dad} could see Owen in these!

I know he must be smiling from Heaven. 

Alphabet Song

I decided to display {in her room} the  work Ella has work hard on at Wee School. 

She loves looking at it all each day.

I think this is  great for her to see what she has made each day.

We go over the letters she has worked on thus far.

She knows the alphabet song!!!!!

Christmas from Oma & Poppie

Tuesday evening we drove to Waxahachie so the kids could open their gifts from Chris’ parents.

The kids got great gifts!

Ella got:

• 4 Zhu Zhu Pets
• Madam Alexander doll named Haley with a carrying case
• Matching out fit and boots to match the doll

Owen got:

• 2 Buzz LightYear’s (a small one that does a karate chop & the big  Blast Off one that talks)
• Clothes
• “Little People” airport

Chris bought these plastic roaches at the Family Dollar store, to play jokes on co-workers.

Ella saw them and HAD to have some. YUCK!!!!!

So of course, Chris bought some for her.  Ella & Owen LOVED them.

And, they are EVERYWHERE!

Fun Day in the Snow ~1/9/2011~

This morning we woke up to rain, but after lunch, the snow began….and didn’t stop until around 4 pm!

Ella could NOT wait to play in the snow!

She didn’t think she needed a coat…I let her find out herself.

After about 3 seconds outside, she thought she better put her coat on.

Owen wasn’t to sure of the snow.

After he fell, he sure wasn’t a fan!

Icicles on the house.

Chris & Ella made an attempt to make a snowman…Chris said the snow was too “icy”…or maybe he was just too cold.

They had fun having snowball fights. Ha!

Ella had fun, but was ready to come inside and warm up.
