Yesterday we were invited to Micah’s {Ella’s soccer coach’s daughter} birthday party!
It was a BLAST!!! They hired a company to do everything…yes, I got all the info!!!!

It was a costume party too…we went right after church, so the kids didn’t want to wear their costumes…truthfully, I really didn’t want to mess with them!

Thursday the kids had their Halloween parties at WEE School.

Ella’s class was going to Trick or Treat down town, but it rained
Some of the merchants came to the gym to give out their candy.
I decided to stay in Ella’s room and not participate in Owen’s room…
I felt REALLY, REALLY, REALLY bad, but he was SO clingy and cried when I dropped him off.
His teacher said it is much easier that way with the little ones….I don’t think any of the moms were in there
Chris worked the night before, therefore he was home sleeping.
However, I had fun joining Ella’s class and meeting her friends.
Each child got to decorate 2 cookies.
Ella had a fun time and ate WAY TOO MUCH CANDY!!!!!
Owen had a great time too, his class got to trick or treat around the classrooms.
I’m very thankful I was off of work and got to take the kids to school and pick them up!
Saturday evening we headed to church for the Fall Festival.
We enjoyed the chili cook off, pie contest {which I entered, with my Pecan Pie…didn’t win…boo!}.
The kids played and Ella rode this little barrel train just about the entire time we were there.
Owen refused to ride, even with me????

Owen chased Taylor {Owen calls her Tay Tay} the whole night.
Taylor & Owen are in the same pre-school class…she is our pastors youngest.
These 2 have a blast together…I think there is a crush already
As I type this write now, Owen sits beside me and is pointing to this picture saying “Tay Tay!!”

When it got dark, we sat by a camp fire, while 2 men sang hymns and played the guitar….SO fun!!!!!
Fun times and fellowship.
Maybe next year I’ll beat the coconut pie.
Last Saturdays soccer game….
Was a success!!! Ella & Chris practicing every night paid off.
Friday night we went to visit Miranda and her kids.
She braided Ella’s hair for the game…thankfully it didn’t look too bad after being slept on.
I was VERY proud of Ella! Each time she was on the field, she was after that ball!
Chris was out of town hunting…he missed a GOOD game
