1st day of 1st grade & 4 years

Monday Ella started 1st grade and Owen turned 4 years old!!!

When did they grow SO fast?!?

Owen went to his 4 year well exam today....he weighs 43 ponds and is 43 inches. BIG boy!!!

We are very blessed to be the parents of these precious babies (: 

Happy 6th Birthday Ella!

Wow!!!  Can’t believe 6 years ago today God gave me such a BEAUTIFUL baby girl….she is such a joy and a blessing.

By Ella’s request, she did not want a traditional party.

She wanted a manicure, pedicure and a hair cut.  She wanted a La Dee Da doll and a new piggy bank.

 

So Saturday that’s what she and I did.

We ate lunch at MG’s in Sherman for lunch.

Sunday we ate dinner at Babe’s.

And today she wanted grilled cheese for dinner and we sang to her and she had a YUMMY cupcake.

Mother's Day

I had a wonderful Mother's Day!!

The kids and Chris gave me breakfast and coffee in bed (:

I got to be LaZy all day and ate dinner at Babe's Chicken House...yummy!!!

Ella got Hazel for her birthday from Oma (Chris' mom). 

She fits right in with our family....Hondo LOVES her!!

Ella lost her first tooth

The tooth fairy gave her a "sparkly" five dollar bill.

 

Easter 2013

Monster Trucks

Saturday Chris and I took the kids to Ardmore, Oklahoma. 

To see Monster Trucks!

The kids really thought the trucks were cool, however, Ella thought they were a little LOUD!! (yes, the kids to have ear plugs)

Representing Kindergarten

Ella was asked by her principal to be at the school board meeting last night to represent Kindergarten.

A child from every grade was there…they held a sign, a senior gave a speech, then the children flipped their signs.

Ella’s sign first read “I’m the line leader for the school board meeting..YaY!”

At the end it read “We heart you!”

This month is school board appreciation month.  The board members really enjoyed the children doing this

Ella did awesome…we were SO proud!!!

Christmas #2

We went to Aunt Shannon's (Chris' sister) house for Christmas with Oma, Poppie, Aunt Shanny and Spencer and Connor.
Ella and Owen got necklaces that have been blessed by a pastor (:
They LOVE them!!!
We had a great time and ate very yummy food!!!

Christmas 2012

Christmas Eve we went to my grandparents house, were Nana lives.

My grandparents are Rejoicing in Heaven….grandpa since 2003 and grandma since 2008. 

We have gone to my grandparents house every Christmas Eve, since I can remember.

The kids got everything they asked for and then some….

They both got a Nabi 2 (it’s kind of like an I Pad, but has a lot of Educational things on it already).

They got LOTS of clothes!

They both got BB guns.

Ella got a Barbie with a walking horse, a camera Barbie, boots, a belt.

Owen got a very old metal Texaco truck, boots, a belt.

This is just from my parents and my brother and sister in law.
