Ella had her 18 month doctors visit today. Chris took her, I was working, she only had to get one shot (yeah!!). Chris said she cried initially, but then it was over. Her stats are: Ht-32 3/4 Wt-28lbs9oz. She is 75% for height and 90% for weight! Her doctor told Chris she is well beyond her age at this point for the things she is doing and saying. She is getting her two year molars, just as I thought *tear*.
On a HAPPY side note. I have pics to show from my early Christmas gift. I love it!!!!!! Thank you Chris!!!!!!!!!!!
Ella is helping her Daddy get ready to shoot his bow.
She loves her Daddy's seat he uses for hunting.
This cute smile makes my heart giggle!!!! Being silly after her bath.

I just could not wait!
I had to put a Christmas background up. I love, love, love Christmas! It is going to be even more fun this year, because Ella is really going to be fun to watch. She was 7 months last Christmas. It was fun, but this year she is 18 months and it's going to be a blast!!!! Can't wait. I hope sometime tomorrow we can start to put up the decorations. I like to start early, I like to enjoy them a little longer. Chris and I are going to have to be creative on how to keep Ella from removing all of the ornaments from the tree. We put a small tree in Ella's room last year, don't know if that will happen this year...
More pics to come with all of the Christmas stuff.

Happy 18 Months Ella!!!
Our baby girl is 18 months old today! She has grown too too fast. Like all parents say, where in the world has the time gone... I love to see her personality blossom everyday. She is saying so many more words, such as "GO TECH" since Chris is a Texas Tech alumni (by the way they have been doing awesome this season). He has taught her to say this quite often. She looks so cute saying it as she "puts her guns up".
Each day I see the terrible "2's" come alive. I've been told that they start early and don't go away until 3-4 years old. WOW!! this will be a long ride.
She definitely showed her terrible two thing as we had Family Christmas Picture yesterday. She did so well in the pics alone, because she could do her own thing, but the minute we tried to get a family pic she wouldn't have it. O'Well we had a good time and Natalie said she got a few good family shots.
Everyone told me that this got easier, I was beginning to wonder if that was ever going to happen. Now that Ella understands more, it has gotten much easier. Even when it is hard, it is well worth it when she gives me giant hugs and kisses!!!!

Ella had a wonderful time at Carson's party, even after falling out of the chair.
A few pics of the Birthday Boy, his yummy cake, his parents and beautiful baby sister.

Happy 76th Birthday Grandma!!!!
My sweet grandmother, who went home to our Lord on 8/9/08, her birthday was today. :(
Ella and I went to put a balloon and flowers on her grave. I will continue to do things such as this so Ella will know about her. You never know how much you love someone until they are gone! I miss her so much!!!!! This Holiday season is going to be very difficult. My family is coming to our house this year, it WAS family tradition to have Thanksgiving and Christmas at my Grandparents house. They are both in heaven now, so now I guess the tradition has moved to our house.
Needless to say today was very hard for me.
Her are a few pics of Ella at the grave.

Scare on the Square 2008
Chris, Ella, Nana and I had a wonderful time down town McKinney tonight. Ella wasn't quite sure of the "scary" costumes. She wanted run around and talk to all the children.
We came home and ate at The Rib Joint, then walked around our down town, then came home and gave candy to the neighborhood trick or treaters.
Ella had a fun time, but was very tired. Maybe she will sleep past 6:45 in the morning.
Happy Halloween!!!
Heidi :)

Halloween Party, HoBo Stew & Trunk or Treat
This weekend Ella and I had a very busy "oh so Spooky" fun weekend. Chris is in Ohio hunting, so Ella and I were invited to many fun activities. A friend of ours had a Halloween Party Saturday evening (thanks for a GREAT party Christina). Ella had fun watching the children carve pumpkins, bob for apples and play the Wii. She seems to play with boys more often than not (get ready for the bars on the windows Daddy).
Sunday evening we went over to some friends and Ella got to pet a baby goat and lots others, then we went with them to their church for a HoBo Stew dinner and a Trunk or Treat. Ella had a blast thinking all the children where chasing her. Needless to say we had a very busy weekend and Ella was worn out.
No pics :( (Daddy took the camera) :(
Hopefully soon I will be getting the camera I have been wanting (hint, hint Chris).
