Baby Names

Chris and I have finally agreed on a name for our baby boy....Owen Christopher. It took a little longer to chose a boy name. When we found out we were having a girl two years ago, we knew then it was Ella Ann.
The pregnancy is going very well. I am WONDERFUL! 21 weeks today! Can't wait to meet this little guy. :)

Easter 2009

We had a great Easter. My mom (Nana) brought Ella's Easter basket on Thursday when she watched her for the day. I think all they did was eat candy all morning! I guess that's what Nana's are for. :)


Then on Sunday we went to my sister-in-laws and ate yummy food and the kids had a great time with the Easter Egg Hunt. Ella did a great job lots of her eggs. She had a fun time with her cousins. Thanks for everything Shannon!!!

We are having a .......

BOY! Chris, Ella and myself are very excited. So, we will have one of each. I don't think Ella quite understands that we will be bringing a baby boy home in the near future. I think she will be a good little helper and a little mama to him. We have not for sure agreed on a name at the moment, we have several we like. More news to come......

Fossil Rim

Early Monday morning Chris, Ella and myself drove to Glen Rose to Fossil Rim. We had a WONDERFUL time. I would so recommend this to anyone, Ella loved it. We drove through in our car, then went on the guided tour, we rode in a van without a canopy on top, therefore, Chris and Ella got a little bit of a sun burn. OOPS!!!!
The guided tour took a little longer than normal, because it is Spring Break and the Giraffe's were such a BIG attraction. Needless, to say the 2 hour tour turned into 3 1/2 hours. It was fine, we got to know the people on the bus with us quite well.
Then that evening we went into town and ate dinner, then we drove to the Bed and Breakfast on the property, which is just beautiful!!!!! That morning we woke up early that morning to video the animals right out our bedroom door and eat breakfast. We got with in about 10 feet of several deer. It was AWESOME. We definitely got up close to alot of different animals. Chis some times had to refrain himself from wanting to shot the whitetail. Great Times!!!!!!

Happy Birthday Mama

Yesterday, St.Patrick's Day was my 32nd Birthday!(WOW! that sounds old to me!) We went to my parents on Sunday to celebrate. Ella helped put the candles on the cake(Italian Cream... Yum, Yum!) We had a great time visiting with Mom, Dad, my brother, his wife and step-son. Thank you all for everything!!!!!

WEE School

Ella will be starting WEE School (Weekday Early Education Program) at our church this next school year. I'm so excited! She will have fun being around other children. She will be going 2 days a week from 9am-2:30. I am kinda of worried about the rest time thing. Hopefully she will follow what the other children are doing, but they are also going to be 2 years old. So, we will have to wait and see. I have been looking for her a backpack, lunch bag, and nap mat. More to come with this adventure...

This past weekend my brother got married. So Ella has an Aunt Shelly and cousin Dane. I am so happy for them and wish them much love!
