Christmas in July

We bought a new TV cabinet, it was delivered last Thursday. Apparently we did not get good measurements, I should rephrase that, Chris did not get good measurements. I was chasing Ella all over the store at that point.
Anyway, our TV would not fit, so Chris decided to buy a new one. We went to Best Buy and left with a 42" Flat screen AND a Wii and Wii fit. We have had so much fun with the Wii. Ella really thinks she is playing. We take the batteries out of one of the controllers (SHHHHH....)

Nana's gift

Ella got Nana a coffee mug at Sea World. This was for taking care of her kitty's while we were gone. Nana loved it!!!!

Summer Vacation 2009

We left Saturday morning for Sea World - San Antonio. Ella did very well in the car. It took us about 6 hours to get there. Sunday we went to Sea World from open, which was 10AM until 2:30. Ella was amazed by all of the people and animals. She could not understand why she could not swim in the big swimming pools with the dolphins, whales, ETC...
Monday we went back to Sea World from 3:00 until close, which was 8PM. We wanted to see some of the shows that were showing in the evening. It was too hot and too long to stay the entire day. So, we broke it up into two days, this worked out very well. Ella still got to take her nap during the day and was very pleasant.
Tuesday we drove home. Chris wanted to stop at the Cabela's in Buda, Texas. Not much different than the one in Fort Worth, but that is his thing, so I did not make a fuss.
We ate lunch then drove to San Marcus to the outlet shops. Chris bought me a new COACH bag, I love it. It is BIG enough to use as a diaper bag as well. Thanks babe!!
Then, we had to stop in West, Texas at the Czech Stop. The pastries, cookies and cakes are so good. I could have ate one of everything in that place!!! Everything is so fresh and yummy :)

That's a little summary of our summer trip. We had a great time, and got to spend one on one time with Ella before Owen is here.

4th of July 2009

My day began going to get me hair and makeup done to be in the wedding of one of my girlfriends I went to nursing school with. She is the reason I met Chris...kind of a long story. We had a great time spending the day together! It was a beautiful wedding :)

This evening Chris, Ella and myself went to our towns firework show. Chris and I were very impressed. It lasted about 45 minutes and was very pretty. Ella enjoyed it , but was scared at times. I think the loud "BOOM" bothered her.


What a fun, but very busy day!!!

Swimming with Nana

My mom took Ella swimming last weekend at our Community Pool. They had a blast, Ella is getting a little too brave in the water. She makes me a nervous wreck!

30 WEEKS and counting....

Today I am 30 weeks! I have tried to stay inside as much as possible, but it's very hard to keep a two year old inside. :)
I told Chris that I am happy this is a boy, because I am getting too old for this pregnancy thing. I'm not sure if I could do it again, definitely not in this Texas heat.

Summer Fun

We bought Ella a pool for the back yard. She loves it, she has no fear, and being her mother scares me to death. She jumps in and out of the pool with no problem. We took her to our Community Pool and she thinks she can swim like the big kids. She likes for Chris and I to take her to the deep part. We can't wait for my mom to give her swimming lessons, this would really make me feel a little better.
