Prince Charming

Our Prince Charming is 2 Weeks old as of yesterday (9/9/09). Today he had is 2 week check-up. The DOC said he is right on target.

His stats:
weight-9lbs 6 1/2oz
length-22 1/4

Which makes him 90% for height and 50%-75% for weight. The DOC says he will more than likely be tall and thin. I am curious to how tall. I have a female cousin who is 6 foot and her brothers are 6.5 and 6.7. The DOC told us to NOT wake him up at night to feed him, he will let us now when he needs to eat. This may cause him to later, NOT sleep through the night. Which makes perfect sense. What a blessing to have a healthy, happy child!

Pre-School Update~

Ella has been waking up during the night crying, saying "No School". I feel so bad for her. I guess she might be a little too young. Chris and I have decided NOT to make her go, if she does not want to. I will have to think of things to keep her busy during the day, while I take care of Owen. It will be fine. I just can not continue to take her and her cry like she does. And have NIGHTMARES!!!!! I guess we will try this again next year. :)

Dora swim suit...

Ella HAD to put on her Dora swim suit yesterday. She was very impatient for one of us to help her, so she decided to attempt herself. HA!

Makeup

Ella has watched me way too much!!!!
She wanted to put on makeup this morning. I hope this is NOT what I look like to her. HA!

1 week old today

Owen is 1 week old today. WOW!!! He is such a good baby, he only cries when he is hungry or needs a diaper change. Thank you LORD!!!
It's been a fast and furious week. Ella started Pre-School, a new baby and a breast infection! :(
I have had better weeks. I'm very blessed, but I hope this gets easier very soon.


*Update on day 2 of Pre-School for Ella~
Chris took her today and she cried, he said almost all of the children were crying, which did not help. She was kind of weepy when he picked her up, because when the other children are being picked up she knows it's time to go and knows one of us should be there to get her. Her teacher told Chris, she finally stopped crying and had a good day overall. I am hoping next week is not harder, since she is out Monday for Labor Day, then goes back Wednesday and Friday. I am hoping it gets better for her, it is very, very hard to see her cry! :(

Ella's first day at Wee School

Ella's first day of Pre-School.
She did very well this morning when I dropped her off, she did not cry. :) I did better than I thought I would do. When I put her in her car seat I got a little teary eyed, but I knew I had to be strong for her.
When I went to pick her up, when she saw me she ran to me and got a tiny bit upset, but then was fine. Her teacher said she cried off and on during the day, but over all had a good day. She did not want to nap, so needless to say, she went to bed early. We will see how it goes on Wednesday. She said she did not want to go on Wednesday, but lately she likes to say "NO" to everything. :)

Yes, Yes, I know the Boppy cover is PINK. I have not had a chance to get a "boy" cover. I will do that ASAP. Sorry Owen!
Anyway, Ella is doing so well with her new brother. She is very much a mother hen.
Seeing them together is very surreal. It makes me sad that they grow so fast. Ella will be 2 1/2 in November...time flies by! Can't believe it, just seems like yesterday when I was taking care of her at this age. WOW!!!!!!
