Fun with Paw Paw

Last Monday night my Dad came over to watch Monday Night Football AND of course to see the kiddos. Ella had a fun time playing with him and climbing on the back of the sofa to "get him". Ella really has her own personality, she is too funny, the things she says...

Our furry friends have really been snuggley since we have been having some cooler weather. The funny thing is...they are both boys. I guess that doesn't matter when your kitty brothers. The white cat is a Devon Rex, his name is Casper. He only has one coat of hair, where most other cats have two coats. This means he is more cold than the black cat. Stanley, the black one, I found him at one of my patients home when I was doing Pediatric Home Health. I really wanted another Devon Rex, but in black...did not want to spend $600 dollars again. Don't get me wrong Casper was well worth the money, but come on Stanley was FREE and way too cute!

The cats are our only furry friends. We gave London (the white POM POM we found) to a friend. I really was sad to have to give her away, but it was way too much with two kids and two cats. I miss her so much!!! :( She was a GREAT dog, but I know that she went to a GREAT home. :) In other words NO MORE ANIMALS for a very, very long time!!!!!

4 weeks old

Today Owen is 4 weeks old! He is growing too fast.

What Owen is up to:
*eating 5 ounces about every 3 hours during the day and about 5 hours during the night.
*loves his bath
*wearing size 3 month clothes
*wearing size 2 diapers, this is only because we were out of size 1 and we were given a box of size two, so I tried, and they fit!!!!

He has his 1 month appointment next Monday, so the stats will be up soon. I can't wait to see how much he has really grown. It just amazes me how he has changed in such a short time. How quickly you forget, even from just 2 years ago.

Ella still has good days and bad. At times you can really see the jealousy in her, but over all she has done very well with her new brother. :)

Owen's Newborn Pictures

Last week our photographer (Natalie) came to our house and took pictures of Owen and the family. It went well other than Ella's meltdown and Owen peeing on me. I'm so thankful Natalie is so patient and has a daughter days apart from Ella. They turned the out beautiful!!! Thanks Natalie to another great session with you! :)

*The reason for the baseball glove, is because Chris was a pitcher in High School and College. The Cowboy hat was my grandfathers, that has since gone to be with the LORD ~ (O how I miss him) it has been bronzed.

Family Fun

Saturday Chris's family came over to visit. They brought food and it was yummy!!! Thanks Aunt Shannon (Shassy) that is what Ella calls her, it is too cute to hear. Ella had a great time playing with her cousins. She is quite the little princess when they are here, she is the ONLY girl. I think she takes full advantage of that one.

Owen is 3 weeks old

Today Owen is 3 weeks old!!! I cannot believe next week he will be a month old. He has started to smile. Such a cutie!

Masterpiece

Ella created a masterpiece of tape on the fireplace tile. She makes me laugh!! :)
