Poor Owen

This is what happens when Ella tries to help .

At times I feel so sorry for Owen, I remind Ella quite often that Owen will some day soon be bigger than her…

Valentine Gifts

004

005

This is what the kids got for Valentine’s Day.

Chris and I got to have a kid-free Valentine’s Day weekend.  We took the kids to Oma (Chris’s mom) on Saturday and picked them up on Monday.  We had a relaxing, low-key weekend.

Saturday on the way home we stopped and ate at Olive Garden, then home and in bed by 6:30PM.  I actually slept from 6:30 until about midnight, I then got up to watch a little TV, then back to bed until 9:00AM!!!  It was sooooo nice!!!

Sunday I went for a little pampering-a mani and pedi, then to the mall for some shopping.  We ate at California Pizza Kitchen, then we went to watch Crazy Heart.  By the way…great movie, although the ending didn’t turn out the way I had hoped :(

Chris and I went to pick up the kids on Monday around 2:00PM.  They had a great time.  They both even slept ALL night.  I don’t know what Oma did, but she knows the “trick”.

Even though Chris and I needed the time together, I missed my babies like CRAZY!!!!!

Thank you Oma, Aunt Shanny and Connor for taken care of our babies.

Does he look like Daddy?

Everyone (except for me) thinks Owen looks like his Daddy. I think Owen looks like Owen. :)
As you can see he likes to "play" with Daddy's face, maybe he thinks it looks funny! Ha!

Valentine treats from Nana

Friday when Nana came over to play in the snow, she brought the kids their Valentine treats. Ella got two cute outfits, a pink Teddy Bear, Dum Dum lolly pops, her own make-up, strawberries and cookies. Owen got two cute outfits, a blue Teddy Bear, a teething ring and a toy. Thank you Nana for all of the sweet treats!!!

Fun in the Snow

Today Nana(my mom)came to play in the snow with Ella. Ella & Owen loved the snow. We played with our neighbor friends and built a Snowman. Ella had to come in and thaw out in between playing with her friends and building the Snowman. Her socks were soaking wet, it didn't seem to bother her. I made her come in the house, change clothes, get warm and eat some lunch. She was then ready for some more snow fun. She and Nana went out together this time, Owen and I stayed in and watched out the windows...Owen had enough! What a fun snow day!!! :)

Serious and NOT so Serious

Ella's personality has really blossomed in the last 6 months. She has become such a little Ham!

Snow...how beautiful!

This is what we woke up to this morning. I asked Ella to come to the window to look at the snow. (notice the bed hair!) She said "Thank you Mama for making the snow!" I said "I didn't make the snow, Jesus did." She said "Thank you Jesus for making the snow!" So sweet!!! She just makes my heart smile!!!!! :)
