It’s Time To Lower the Mattress!

Owen starting pulling up on his crib yesterday.  I think it’s time to lower the mattress.  He has really been trying to pull up on a lot of things lately.  O Dear!  I hope he doesn't walk real soon, he just started crawling really good. Ella walked at 11 months, I hope Owen walks around the same time or later.  I’m not ready to keep 2 of them out of everything. Ha! 

Mother’s Day 2010

Today my parents and brother came over for Mother’s Day.  We ate and played outside (a little chilly).

This is what Chris & I gave our moms.  Our children’s silhouette.   Owen’s head looks bigger than Ella’s, his picture was taken a little closer than Ella’s.  I think they turned out GREAT!!!  Thanks Miranda :)

Chris’s mom was not able to make it, they have had some illness at their house, therefore they didn’t want to be around the kids.  We missed her!

 

 

 

 

 

 

The kids gave me two BIG balloons, one that sang a sweet little song, candy and 3 sweet cards.

 

 

 

 

 

Chris bought me a black & white polka dot dress from White House Black Market.  I love it!!! Oh and a pair of black heels from WHBM as well.  Thanks Babe!!!!

We had a wonderful time!!!!

I’m so blessed this Mother’s Day to have Ella & Owen!!!  Being a mother is the most rewarding & most challenging job I have ever had.

3 years ago on Mother’s Day I was gifted with Ella (of course she was born 5/13/07.  Her birthday is not always on Mother’s Day)  What an amazing first Mother’s Day gift!!!!!!

Thank you Lord for giving me the gift of my 2 angels :)

Don’t eat the Grass

This week was Owen’s first experience sitting on the grass.  Of course he pulled it and put it in his mouth.  He is too funny, he would sit outside all day if I would let him.  He will look around and just be as happy as a lark :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

This week as been beautiful, although it has felt like SUMMER!!  It’s already getting HOT!  Ella doesn’t care what the temperature is, she wants to live outside.  I’m so happy I'm not BIG and pregnant this SUMMER!!!

He’s on the Move! & a beautiful rainbow

Owen is officially crawling!! As of today.  Oh my, I'm in trouble! Two mobile children.  :)

He still at times tries to move by walking on his feet and hands. Ha!

It was BEAUTIFUL after the rain this evening.  (I think the spots on the rainbow pic is a rain drop, because it isn't on any more of the pics).

Oh What a Beautiful Day

We played outside quite a bit today.  Ella played ball with Daddy.

Then we decided to go to Paw-Paw’s & Nana’s (my parents).  Nana was not there, but Paw-Paw & Uncle (Russell-my brother) were there.  Chris, Uncle and Ella went fishing (no catch), while Paw-Paw, Owen and myself stayed at the house.  Owen had fun destroying the coupons from the newspaper.  I pulled the kids in the wagon, while the guys sat on the porch and talked.

Owen LOVES this cute little Piggy Bank.  It was Ella’s, but now we share all of the toys.  He chews, throws and claps together the coins.  Owen enjoys playing in the floor with toys.  He enjoys it much more when his sister plays with him.
