Saturday was fun filled with cousins and Wee School Round-up!

Ella & Owen’s cousins ({my brother’s girls-Paislee & Preslee} came to visit Saturday morning.

Saturday afternoon Ella’s Wee School had their annual fundraiser—Round-up was the theme.

Each class had an individual project.

Each class had a themed basket and the class donated items for the basket…Ella’s class did a Movie theme.

We had a dinner, the kids sang, there was a live auction and a silent auction.

Chris won the bid on the basket!!

The items is the basket are:

Lot and lots of dinner gifts card, 4 movies, movie candy, lots of popcorn, a blanket and sodas.

Each class had a class project.  Ella’s class did this.

A child size picnic table with each child’s had print on the benches.

Ms. Amy painted the flag.

Chris won the bid on this too!!!!!

We had such a great time with great friends and family at the Round-up.

Tangled

Yesterday Ella was invited to her friend Macy’s birthday party. 

Macy is the daughter of Ella’s pre school teacher {Ms. Amy}.

The theme was Tangled.

We ate hotdogs, cake, cup cakes & ice cream.

The kids played inside, watched “at” the movie Tangled & played outside…while the parents got to chit chat.

We ALL had, such a great time!!!!

She said “I was trying to fix my hot dog and the cheese fell off” Ha!!

Owen is 19 months old!

Yesterday {3/26/11} our son turned 19 months old. 

I actually remembered today…time just goes by too fast

He is such a joy & blessing!!

I LOVE his new haircut, he looks like such a big boy.

Tailwaggers Country Inn

I got the privilege to take off of work today and go with Ella {Owen went too} on her field trip to Tailwaggers.

  Tailwaggers is a animal hotel/daycare/salon & spa.

  The kids had so much fun meeting and greeting some of the animals there.

This is such a fun and neat place.

People can board their animals here while on vacation.

They have VIP suites that cost &40-&65/night and the owner of the pet can watch their 4 legged child from a video camera in the suite. Ha!

They drive to the Dallas area on Tuesdays & Thursdays to pick up and drop off animals {mostly dogs} for day care, for $40/day.

85% of their business is from the Dallas area.  Tailwaggers in located in Van Alstyne.

I was very impressed AND blown away what people do for their pets.

 

This Lab LOVED the pool, it was the shape of a bone.

Owen loves, loves, loves dogs!!!!!

This Golden Retriever was bigger than Owen, but sure was sweet.

This one just got a bath and partially dried. Ha!

This is the cattery…they told us that the cats normally run loose, but they didn’t know how they would react with ALL of the little people.

Owen was in heaven with all of these dogs!!!!!

Everyone who wanted to love on the bunny, got to.  It was SO soft.

Poor bunny!!!

 

We had such a fun time…now ALL I’m going to hear from Ella is “Can we have a dog?”

Thursday {3/17/11}, St.Patrick's Day was my 34th birthday.

  I met a friend for a manicure & pedicure, then she took the kids to her house.

Thank you SO much Karla for keeping the kids…they had a BLAST at your house and with your boys!!!

  Chris & I got to eat dinner alone and do a little shopping.

  We had a great time together.

Friday we went to my moms, we ate tacos from Taco Casa {my fav!}.

We ate yummy cake and ice cream too.
