Ella was asked by her principal to be at the school board meeting last night to represent Kindergarten.
A child from every grade was there…they held a sign, a senior gave a speech, then the children flipped their signs.
Ella’s sign first read “I’m the line leader for the school board meeting..YaY!”
At the end it read “We heart you!”
This month is school board appreciation month. The board members really enjoyed the children doing this
Ella did awesome…we were SO proud!!!
We went to Aunt Shannon's (Chris' sister) house for Christmas with Oma, Poppie, Aunt Shanny and Spencer and Connor.
Ella and Owen got necklaces that have been blessed by a pastor (:
They LOVE them!!!
We had a great time and ate very yummy food!!!
Christmas Eve we went to my grandparents house, were Nana lives.
My grandparents are Rejoicing in Heaven….grandpa since 2003 and grandma since 2008.
We have gone to my grandparents house every Christmas Eve, since I can remember.

The kids got everything they asked for and then some….
They both got a Nabi 2 (it’s kind of like an I Pad, but has a lot of Educational things on it already).
They got LOTS of clothes!
They both got BB guns.
Ella got a Barbie with a walking horse, a camera Barbie, boots, a belt.
Owen got a very old metal Texaco truck, boots, a belt.

Ella had a birthday party to go to @ 1:00
in Frisco at Young Chef’s Academy.
They decorated gingerbread house…it was the cutest party EVER!!
There was EVERY KIND OF CANDY you could possibly think of to decorate with.

The finished product…Ella said the chocolate kisses were the “smoke alarms”.
We then went to Macy’s to mail letters to Santa.
Sunday we went to see Santa and get a picture with him…although Owen decided he wouldn’t sit in Santa’s lap
