Locked Out

Well, I found out the hard way today that Ella can lock doors. I went out the door to the garage to put the trash can back in the garage. Proceeded to come back in the house and the door was LOCKED! I went across the street to Holly's to use her phone. My daddy was on his way with the key. I could see her through the window. I sat on the bench on the porch. I tried and tried to get her to unlock the door, but no luck. Daddy came and unlocked the door, Ella was okay (thank you Lord). Daddy called her "Miss Home Alone". Now we can laugh, but I was not happy at the time. I felt so helpless looking at her through the window and her wanting me to open the door. I learned a lesson today!!!!

Good Bye Grandma

My sweet, sweet grandma went to be with our Lord Saturday night. I will miss her very much. Although she had been very ill for some time, I was not ready for her to leave. Please pray for our family.

God is Good!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday was not a good day for me and my family. My grandma had her second dialysis treatment and became unresponsive about 1 hour into the treatment. Her blood pressure dropped very low and her doctor told us that "this was the end" that her body was shutting down. People say that the hearing is the last thing that goes, so I just talked to her. Around 7:30pm, after being "out" for about 10 hours, I asked her if she was thirsty and she said no, of course I could not quite understand her, because she had an oxygen mask on. I went down the hall and told the nurse to call the doctor. Long story short. She is still very sick, she has chronic kidney failure, but the kidney doctor does think she may benefit from continuing with the dialysis. She is not totally out of the woods, but much better than yesterday.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE Pray For Her.

Thank you.

Updates on Sweet Grandma

Today my grandma had her first dialysis treatment. She says she has felt sick all day and very tired. The doctor told her she will have another treatment on Friday. Please keep her in your prayers. She is the only grandparent I have left, and the only great-grandparent Ella has. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

What a Mess!

Ella has decided to become miss independent with meal time! She does not want any help with eating. So, I let her do her thing, which means a big mess! I most always give her a bath after she eats. I guess she thinks she will paint herself and the highchair with the food. She has to learn to feed herself at some point, Right??? She has a good time and she is eating, that's okay, I can let go of my OCD just a little. LOL!
Everyone told me about this whole thing about our house not being emaculate all the time and I am finally figuring that out. I try....
A few pics of the messy little love.

Who Knew?!?

Chis and I have discovered that Ella would rather watch Hannah Montana, Suite Life of Zach & Cody, Wizards of Waverly Place, and Life with Derek than any of the animated shows on the Disney Channel. She is too funny. She will sit and watch these shows and be totally oblivous to anything else. These are just a few pictures of her watching Hannah Montana. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The last picture is Chris reading a book to Ella. So Sweet.

My Sweet Grandma.

Please pray for my grandmother. She has gone into acute renal failure. The doctor is giving her 5-7 days to see if the medicine will pull the 45 pounds of extra fluid off. If not then he wants to do a kidney biopsy, and possible dialysis. This will be a long road. So please keep her in your prayers.

Thank you.
