Friday night was the PandaMania Party!

We ate pizza, nachos, snow cones & much more!

The kids enjoyed the bounce house, dunking booth & cupcake walk….we had so much fun!!!!!

We are SO proud of Ella, she did an awesome job singing!

029

There were 101 children who registered!

024

Owen sat very still and listened so well to the kids singing.

031

Nana came to enjoy the party too.

032

These cute the pandas is what the kids got at the cup cake walk.

039

All the girls got these tattoos on their foreheads.  By the looks of Ella’s hair…I think she got a little close to the dunking booth.

043

All of the kids decorated a “Jesus Loves Me” backpack and bookmark that will be given to a child in need.  Each backpack will include a Bible.  The cost of each Bible is $2.00.  All donations made during VBS week went toward the purchase of Bibles for the backpacks.  The deal about this was: Amy (Ella’s pre-school teacher this past year) our preachers wife, made a deal with Mark.  If the girls donated more money than the boys, then Mark got to be the first in the dunking booth and vise versa.  By Thursday the boys were ahead.  Two of the 5th grade girls sold Lemon aid at a garage sale all afternoon Friday and earned $60 and donated EVERY dollar made toward the mission project!!!!  What an amazing testimony these girls are beginning.

I’m very thankful for the people who volunteered their time to VBS this year.

Father’s Day

Sunday we went to church, the kids were dedicated.  I’m SO sad I didn’t get any pictures Sad smile

Then we took my Dad to lunch.

015

This was the best picture out of SEVERAL of my Dad & the kids.

Owen seems to do this nose picking thing when I take his picture.

Chris bought himself a game cart (a cart that one pulls their game out of the woods with)

for his Father’s Day gift.

We hung out with my parents and brother…the kids always have fun playing “in the country”.
