Ohio Trip

We (Chris, myself, Ella & Owen) left for Ohio Thursday morning @ 7:15 AM.  Of course Minnie Mouse made the trip too :)

Stops:

1. Little bitty town (forgot the name of the town) in Northern Oklahoma-we ate @ McDonald’s (of course).
2. Joplin, Missouri-gas, bathroom break.
3. Springfield, Missouri-National Headquarters for Bass Pro Shop & ate at the WORST Applebee’s EVER!!!!!! :(
4. Sullivan, Missouri-arrived @ the hotel.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Friday morning we headed to Ohio from Sullivan, Missouri @ 6:50 AM.  We ate breakfast at the hotel.

Stops:

1. Illinois- gas, bathroom & snacks.
2. Indiana-ate @ McDonald’s (of course).

We arrived at Scott & Andrea’s house around 3:30 PM .

 

During our visit:

• A parade ~ because Covington, Ohio celebrated 175 years!
• Fireworks.
• Ate lots and lots of good food.
• Shopped, shopped and shopped!!!!
• Loved on Buckeye and Bella’s 4 sweet puppies.
• Ate at a Japanese Bistro.
• Ate ice cream @ the cutest little ice cream stand.
• Went swimming.
• Made smores.
• Chris, Scott and the kids {except Owen} went fishing {Ella caught her 1st fish} and went to the batting cage.
• Celebrated Shelby’s 19th Birthday.
• Saw lots of horse and buggies {lots of German Baptists in Covington}
• Ate at White Castle.
• Met Dixie & Diesel {Shelby & Zach’s dogs}
• Went to a Dayton Dragons baseball game.
• Lots, lots, lots, lots of FUN!!!!!
• Brought home Crockett {our Shih-Tzu}

Saturday we left Scott & Andrea’s @ 1:00 PM.

Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis where the Colts play.

The St. Louis Arch

Busch Stadium in St. Louis, Missouri where the Cardinal play. 

Yummy!!!!!!

 

Stops: All of the eating had to be in the car due to Crockett, which was fine.  He did PERFECT!!!!!!

1. Indiana-Chris & I ate at KFC, the kids ate at McDonald’s {of course}.  Bathroom break, Crockett-bathroom break, water & food.
2. Missouri-Ate at White Castle, bathroom break, Crockett-bathroom break, water & food.
3. Sullivan,Missouri-Arrived at the hotel.

Sunday morning we left for Texas @ 7:00 AM.

Stops:

1. Missouri-gas
2. Oklahoma-gas, food

Home Sweet Home @ 4:00 PM!!!!!

We had an awesome trip!  But it sure was nice to be home and back into the groove of things.

Thank you Scott, Andrea, Shelby, Dustin, Kyleigh & Kody for lots and lots of memories!!!!!  We love you all :)
