Lions and Tigers and Bears...OH MY!!!

Ella covered Owen with her animals while he was sitting in his bouncy seat. It didn't seem to bother him at all. I'm not sure there is anything Ella does to him that bothers him. He watches her every move.

4 month check-up

Today Owen had his 4 month check-up. I know we are a little late with this appointment, but with the holidays and all it is what it is.
He is off of the growth chart!!! We have a very BIG boy. He weighs 18lbs 6oz(90%) and is 27 1/2 inches(97%)...they told me he is the size of a 7 month old. I knew he was big, but had no idea the size of a 7 month old!! I think he has stranger anxiety already, he cried like crazy if anyone in the doctor's office even looked at him. He is definitely a mama's boy. HA!! He got 5 vaccines, but only 2 shots and an oral vaccine(Rotateq). I am so happy that some of the vaccines are combined now (wish that would have been true when Ella was this age). He did very well considering...he is sleeping at the moment :)

Carrots

Tonight I tried baby food for the first time with Owen. He didn't like carrots to much. I have tried cereal with him several times and he just didn't care for it, he gags :( Since he wakes up at least once, if not twice a night to eat, I thought the baby food would maybe "fill" his tummy. Maybe he's not quite ready for food yet. I guess I'll continue to wake up all hours of the night to feed, but that's just fine. :) I am amazed every day how different Ella and Owen are!!

*He got a bath right after, that is why he has no clothes on...I didn't want to stain his outfit.

Happy Boy

Owen is so happy Daddy got the Jumperoo down from the attic. He loves it!!!!
Doesn't he have the sweetest face ever!!!!

Play-Doh Fun

Saturday morning Ella wanted to play with her Play-Doh ice cream maker. I set her up at the kitchen table and put Owen in his Bumbo so he could watch. Owen is very interested in everything Ella is involved with. You can see the love in Owen's eyes when Ella talks to him. I hope they grow up to be best friends.

New Year's Eve Party

Ella, Owen and I met some friends at The Children's Museum in Denison Thursday. Ella had a blast! They had a count down at noon and everyone blew their little horns. It was too cute seeing all of the kids with New Year hats on and saying "Happy New Year". Ella wanting to know this morning if we were going to another "fun" party today. Ha!

Christmas 2009 with the Nelson's

Sunday we drove to Chris's sisters to have Christmas with his side of the family. :)
Ella and Owen got lots of cute clothes and fun toys!!! Thank you Oma, Poppie, Aunt Shanny, Spencer & Connor!!!! We had a great time.
