Santa Babies
Nana bought these cute outfits for the kids. They are their Christmas outfits, however Ella decided that she and Owen needed to "model" them. Aren't they the cutest?

keepsake
Ella and I made this Santa plate when she was 16 months old. If you look real close, Santa's cheeks are Ella's hinny cheeks. HA! This was NOT my idea, but thought it was very cute. Ella will love me later in life for this "special" plate :)

Dear Santa...

Today we went to Stonebriar Mall in Frisco. The kids got there picture taken with Santa Claus. Ella was so excited to sit on his lap and tell him see wants a "baby" bow(bow & arrow) and a "baby" necklace. I just knew that she would NOT get near him once it came down to taking the picture. Boy, was I wrong, she went right up to him and jump in his lap with a smile from ear to ear and a twinkle in her eye!!! She even gave him a hug when she left :) Owen was amazed of all the lights and shiny things. They had a great time! It's so fun this time of the year with little ones.

It's beginning to look alot like Christmas!
We have the trees up, now we need to put the lights on the house and do a little decorating outside. We actually had the trees up before Thanksgiving, because I knew we were going to have family in town and I wanted it out of the way. Ella and Owen have a tree in their bedrooms...Nana bought Ella some new little penguin ornaments for her tree. She loves them, she has had so much fun this year already with all of the Christmas stuff. We asked her what she wanted for Santa to bring her and she tells us "a baby bow(bow & arrow) and a baby necklace." Were she got those two things, I don't know. But this is always her answer, no matter WHO asks her. TOO cute! :)
Owen's tree is kinda of plan, I could not find any deer ornaments that I liked or that matched his room, so I just went with gold balls and green stars. Maybe by next year I can find what I really want or want he wants.
Buddy our elf, from the tradition and book "The Elf on the Shelf" will be out very soon to "keep tabs on the kids for Santa". This is such a cute and fun tradition.
Happy decorating!!! :)

Thanksgiving 2009
Our holiday started Wednesday when Chris's brother, his wife and two kids drove all the way from Ohio. We drove to Sherman to stay at my mom's house because it is bigger and has lots more room for the kids to play outside. Thursday Chris's parents, sister and her two boys drove up from Waxahachie. My brother and his wife and my parents were there. We ate GREAT food and had a WONDERFUL time!!! We fried two turkeys and baked one, had lots and lots of side dishes....and LOTS of sweets. MMmmmmmmm!
Friday we came back to our house and hung out and we all went to a BBQ restaurant to eat. A friend of Chris' came up from Dallas, the kids played outside, played the Wii, made a Gingerbread house while the adults talked and talked about "old times". Fun times!!!
Saturday everybody left to drive back home. :(
We had a fantastic Thanksgiving and have so much to be THANKFUL for!!!! Thank you to our awesome LORD and saviour!
